My name is Yvon Bernard. I was born in a small town called Port Lambton in Canada. When I was eighteen I joined the
Navy for a five year stint. It was there that I saw Chris DeBurgh In concert for the first time. I bought all the
albums and tried to learn the songs. Now I'm back in the same small town.
I picked the song "Broken Wings" because I lived that song. I began receiving letters from a girl while I was in the Navy and when I got back home she sent me traveling on...just like the song. It amazes me how Chris DeBurgh tells stories so true to life without actually experiencing it (I read his Biography and don't recall him mentioning anything like that song). |
