My name is EMESE-KINGA HORVÁTH. I live in Cluj-Napoca (Romania); I am of Hungarian nationality. I am 31 years old. I am one of Chris de Burgh’s biggest fans. I was really happy to learn about this year’s new contest, the Inspired Song Contest. I find it a brilliant idea. Although I am only a hobby-musician (composer/singer), I will try my hand at this contest. I would like to participate with a song of my own, inspired by Chris’s beautiful and unique music: “You Are The One”, inspired by: “You Are the Reason”. By this songs I would like to express all my love and my deepest gratitude towards the world’s most loving and love-worthy man, most inspired and talented artist, Mr. Chris de Burgh. I would like to dedicate the song ‘You Are The One’ (composed and interpreted by me) to Mr. Chris de Burgh, my most favorite artist and the man who changed my life. When I saw/heard him for the first time in the video ‘The Lady in Red’ (in 1995), I had the feeling that I found a special person and a great musician. During the following years, this feeling became a certainty, as, by his wonderful music, divine voice and fantastic personality, he helped me overcome many difficult periods of my life, changing me into a better and stronger person, always giving me a reason to look further, to step forward. Even now, he is the rock of my single life, as he always succeeds to sneak love into my heart, faith into my soul and hope into my mind. I chose as inspiration for this song the: ‘You Are The Reason’. It is beautiful. He is one in a million and with this song, written especially to him, I would like to say: “Thank you, Chris, a thousand times, for being the great man you are.
